Hello! My name is Ben Moore. I’m a Bristol-based graphic designer and recent BA(Hons) graphic design graduate, specialising in typography and editorial design. Design is a science, and as creatives, our decisions influence the way in which others perceive and interact with the world. Hence, I take an approach to design that is pragmatic, objective and responsive, yet experimental and energised!

University for the Creative Arts
Awarded 1st class honours. My final major project was an image-based publication, marrying typography with image abstraction to visually represent jazz music; my dissertation challenged the misinformed perpetuation of dyslexia stereotypes by select ‘dyslexia-friendly’ fonts.
September 2023 - Present
School of Architecture & Design
Marketing for the ‘Multistory’ visiting lecturer series. Physical media printed with water-based inks, risograph printing and recycled mediums, fore fronting environmental responsibility. Custom typeface designed for the series second year. Hired by recommendation.

SURGE Marketing Agency
Marketing for off-shore renewable energy organisations. Responsibilities included: listening and responding to client needs, logo design, editorial design, logo animations and website design.
